Television commercials for infant car seat safety abound and almost anyone who has a small child knows that when it comes to baby safety, it is absolutely necessary to have a good quality car seat to ensure that in case of an accident your little one will be safe. Yet in recent years the many infant car seat safety ratings have led to a form of overconfidence and many a child has been seen riding on the lap of a mom or dad who is just taking a quick trip down to the store. While baby car seat safety is being touted by some, others find that it may be too restrictive, and usually the notion that a crying child needs to be comforted rather than be strapped in is used to excuse the removal of a child from the restraints.

If your child is inconsolable, you may elect to have another adult ride with her/him in the backseat. Similarly, baby crib safety is another big issue to those who understand that some baby safety products may not be as safe as they first thought. While considered by many a baby safety tool, the fact of the matter indicates that these side pillows could cause more damage than good!

Last but not least, no other issue of baby safety is as hotly debated as pool safety for baby! Tragedies abound of those who failed to plan for infant and child safety; while a baby monitor safety video may scare you straight for a short period of time, it is the consistent use of baby safety products that will produce infant safety and parental vigilance.
